Our Impact
Products

Dedicated to transforming surplus food into high quality animal feed products, scientifically formulated for livestock needs.

Decarbonising the supply chain. Efficient and clean fuel solutions for Bio-CO2 and Bio-LNG applications. Engineered for maximum performance and environmental benefits.

Sustainable energy solutions that help reduce carbon footprint. Advanced technologies for efficient energy production and storage.

Supply of services to agriculture; from nutrient rich bio fertilisers which are PAS110 certified to fallen farm stock collections.
Feed
Our FEMAS accredited feed product is made from high-quality, safe surplus food, ideal for livestock nutrition.
Key benefits of our feed:
-
Supporting food industry supply chain on their sustainability goals by diverting suitable surplus food from waste disposal to animal feed.
-
Creating blended feeds to provide a nutritional balanced diet for live stock.
-
Providing a sustainable alternative feed reducing reliance on traditional soy and rapeseed virgin products.

Fuel
RenEco upgrades biogas from our Anaerobic Digestion Plant to produce high-quality Liquid Biomethane (LBM), a renewable and sustainable alternative to fossil-derived LNG. LBM is fully compatible with all LNG-powered vehicles and offers a significant reduction in fossil-based carbon emissions.
Key benefits of our renewable fuel:
-
Circular economy in action: Biogas derived from surplus food is upgraded into LBM, which fuels the HGVs used to collect that surplus, creating a closed-loop, sustainable system.
-
Fleet ready fuel: RenEco produces enough LBM to power its own fleet of LNG HGVs, as well as customer fleets via our dedicated filling station.
-
Net Zero fossil carbon emissions: Emissions from LBM are part of the short carbon cycle, absorbed by plants and crops, resulting in Net Zero fossil-based carbon impact.
LBM is a practical, scalable solution for reducing emissions in transport and supporting the shift to a low-carbon future.

Energy
At RenEco, we're harnessing the power of animal by-products and food waste to deliver dependable, sustainable energy. Our operations produce up to 15MW of renewable power by processing animal by-products and food waste to fuel CHP (Combined Heat and Power) engines.
An additional 22MW from solar photovoltaic panels installed at our site increases our total generation capacity to 25MW, enough to power approximately 35,000 homes.
Key benefits of our energy generation:
-
Around-the-clock renewable power: Unlike many renewable sources, our facility generates electricity 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring a continuous supply to the National Grid.
-
Carbon-neutral operations: Our process is low in fossil-based carbon emissions, supporting carbon neutrality across our energy production.
-
Waste-to-energy innovation: In addition to our current anaerobic digestion plant, a new state-of-the-art plant is under construction, designed to process animal waste such as poultry litter. This will further reduce the environmental impact of agricultural waste on the local countryside and waterways
RenEco is committed to delivering dependable, clean energy solutions while reducing environmental impact and supporting the UK's transition to net zero.

Agriculture
At RenEco we are able to support farming and agriculture directly and through our two other group companies - Whites Recycling and Clarkes of Melton.
One of the products of RenEco's Anaerobic Digestion process is digestate - an organic rich biofertiliser.
Key benefits of our digestate:
-
The use of digestate as an alternative to traditional bagged fertiliser is a cost effective solution that can help to improve soil composition and encourages the growth of crops.
-
Our team at Whites Recycling have dedicated Farm Liaison Managers who manage the supply of digestate to the agricultural industry to ensure the delivery of high quality results.
Fallen stock collection
-
Based in East Anglia our team at Clarkes of Melton provide fallen stock collection (pigs, cattle, poultry, sheep, etc.) throughout the region.
-
We offer a specialised system of sealed bin storage combined with sanitised handling procedures to provide a quality and efficient service to Farms.
-
Approved under the RSPCA's Freedom Food assurance scheme.
